Abbe has always sought spaces where creativity, insight and self-expression are celebrated. That search led her to yoga, but too often she found studios that felt one-size-fits-all, lacking depth, individuality, and soul.
In 2019, she opened her first 600-square-foot studio. When the pandemic forced it to close just five months later, she pivoted, creating Summer School, an outdoor yoga sanctuary. When the weather turned and it was too cold to practice outside, Abbe pivoted again and created the Titan Courses, immersive trainings that kept students engaged and connected during lockdown. That momentum sparked her boldest leap yet: opening Troy City Yoga in Fall River, designed with full trust in her vision. With students traveling from across the region, expansion soon followed with Wonderland Yoga in Providence.
Through it all, one thing has remained constant: community. Abbe’s work is rooted in creating spaces where people feel seen, connected, and inspired. Today, Troy City Yoga and Wonderland Yoga stand as proof of what’s possible when you stop playing small, take the leap, and bet on yourself.
Teaching Philosophy & Methodology
Abbe believes yoga isn’t just about movement, it’s about transformation. Her teaching goes beyond poses, integrating dharma, history, philosophy, and mindfulness to create a full-spectrum experience that honors yoga’s roots while making it relevant to modern practitioners.
Unlike corporate studios that have diluted yoga’s depth in favor of mass appeal, Abbe relishes in the vibrant, spiritual, and wildly expressive teachings of yoga. Every class she creates is an immersive journey, weaving together fluid movement, intelligent sequencing, and deep self-inquiry.
Empowerment is at the heart of her methodology. Instead of rigid templates and scripted sequences, Abbe ensures that each teacher at her studios is encouraged to design their own unique class experiences. They believe that when teachers feel free to teach from their creativity, students feel that authenticity, and that’s what builds real connection.
Abbe's approach isn’t just about leading a great class; it’s about helping students and teachers alike unlock a new relationship with movement, their bodies, and themselves.
